Love and Distance
Graduation season is upon us.
And maybe, like me, you catch yourself worrying that your kids are growing up too fast, and will be leaving the nest before you know it. Or, maybe they already have.
Here are two quotes, about love and distance, that might make you feel better.
“If ever there is a tomorrow when we’re not together, there is something you must always remember. You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. But the most important thing is, even if we’re apart, I’ll always be with you.” — Winnie the Pooh
and,
How long will I give to you?
As long as I live through you.
However long you say.
How long will I love you?
As long as stars are above you.
And longer if I may.
— Ellie Goulding
Let us embrace fleeting moments with open arms. Let us celebrate unbreakable bonds that defy physical separation. And, let our love be a beacon in the ever-changing tides of life.
Happy parenting. You got this.
